I recently purchased Safari tailgate P O N T I A C letters from Ames, about $100 with shipping.  They are of poor quality.  There appears to be no quality control by Ames on these parts, the defects are obvious.  The most serious problem is that some mounting studs are not straight preventing the letters from even be mounted.  Chrome quality is not good either.
