Michael Wayne AMOS  1947 - 2018

Born June 29, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio. Died at home July 15. Michael attended elementary and secondary schools in Walbridge, Ohio, graduating from Lake High School in 1965. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in aerospace engineering in 1969 from the University of Michigan. Michael was commissioned into the Air Force as a second lieutenant in 1970 and retired at Edwards Air Force Base in March 1990. While in the Air Force he received a Master of Science in systems engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in March of 1975. Michael continued his career with the Air Force as a civilian employee and had over 10 years of service at Edwards with the Air Force Test Center. He is survived by his wife, Candyce, sons Jonathan (Heather) Amos of Minnesota, Christopher, and Russell (Leanne) Amos of California, grandchildren Brooke and Ethan, brother Brian (Carolyn) Amos and sister Patricia (Amos) Ayling of Ohio.
